Complete Collision Repair
Truckstar provides full-service heavy-duty and commercial collision repair for fleets and owner-operators throughout South Central Wisconsin. Our 38,750-square-foot facility is equipped to repair trucks, trailers, buses, RVs, construction, and agricultural equipment of nearly any size. From minor body repairs to major collision and structural damage, all work is completed in-house to ensure quality control, clear communication, and reduced downtime.
Custom Paint & Refinishing
Truckstar provides professional heavy-duty paint and refinishing services using Axalta coatings, including Imron™ single-stage and basecoat/clearcoat systems designed for commercial and oversized vehicles. These coatings deliver long-term durability, corrosion protection, and consistent color and gloss retention across trucks, trailers, buses, RVs, and equipment.
Every paint job begins with proper surface preparation, including thorough cleaning, priming, and sealing to ensure correct adhesion and finish longevity. All refinish work is completed in-house and backed by the manufacturer’s paint warranty, with a guarantee against peeling or separation.
Wheel Alignment & Suspension
Truckstar uses the Hunter WinAlign® HD Alignment System to perform fast, precise multi-axle wheel alignments for heavy-duty and commercial vehicles. As a full-service collision repair center, alignment is completed in-house as the final step of the repair process—eliminating outside delays and helping get vehicles back in service faster. The Hunter system captures up to three axles at once, displays live adjustment data, and provides before-and-after alignment reports for customers and insurance companies.
Our facility also features a drive-on Kansas Jack axle correction system, deep alignment pit, and in-floor shaker plates for accurate suspension inspection and diagnosis. This equipment allows us to identify worn or loose components and perform necessary repairs so each alignment delivers maximum tire life, handling, and safety.
Frame Correction
Truckstar performs in-house heavy-duty frame straightening using a 10-point Blackhawk Power Cage system with 300 tons of pulling power, allowing us to repair severely damaged frame rails that many shops cannot. Our drive-on, floor-level runways and full frame pit access make loading and setup efficient, while laser measuring and frame gauges ensure accurate diagnosis and correction.
Media Blasting
Proper surface preparation is critical to a long-lasting paint finish. Truckstar uses an in-house media blasting system to remove paint, primer, and corrosion from steel surfaces in a single step, creating a clean foundation for Axalta coatings. This process eliminates the need for sanding or grinding and ensures proper adhesion.
Media blasting is ideal for preparing dump bodies, frames, axles, trailers, and equipment for durable, corrosion-resistant paint finishes.
