FAQ

My insurance company has provided me with an estimate. Will you work off of their estimate?

Yes, we are able to use the estimate provided. We will also work closely with the insurance company during the repair process.

How do I get an estimate and is there a charge?

There is no charge for estimates. You can bring your vehicle to Truckstar during business hours to have it estimated. If it is not driveable, it can be towed to our facility. We do onsite estimating as well.

My truck is my business and keeping it on the road is important. How can you assure repairs will be done in a timely manner?

We are a full-service body shop that specializes in heavy-duty vehicles. They are our specialty, plus all repairs are done in-house which reduces turnaround time.

How long will it take to get my vehicle repaired?

Repair times vary and are based on what work is needed. We do our best to get your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible, but there are certain factors that can affect the process. Hidden damage and parts availability are a couple of things that can potentially affect turnaround time. However, you can be rest assured that our goal is to get your truck back up and running so you can get back on the road. We will quickly address any unforeseen issues that arise.

Do you guarantee your work?

Quality repairs are our goal. We want our customers happy, and if any part of the repair is in question it will be addressed. Wear and tear on vehicles is to be expected, but if the repair does not meet expectations we want to know about it.

Do you do mechanical repairs?

No, we do not provide mechanical or engine services other than wheel alignments and suspension work. Our specialty is paint and collision repair and our facility is set up for that purpose.

What makes you experts on the collision and paint repair of heavy-duty trucks?

We have been in business for over 20 years and we have been members of TARA (Truck-Frame and Axle Repair Association) and the Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association for most of those years. We are also a member of the Better Business Bureau and have affiliations with the H.D. Truck Repair Forums, along with several other industry organizations. Our years in business have allowed us to have close relationships with many local fleet owners and managers. We have always recognized the importance of word-of-mouth promotion so we have worked hard to keep our customers happy.

Are you able to color match the paint on my truck?

We use Axalta Imron™ paints for durability, color matching, and color retention. It is the preferred paint of truck manufacturers. The system allows us to mix paint in-house using manufacturers paint codes. We also tint colors as needed.
